According to INSEE, the rise in prices continued in July in France, in slow motion, inflation settled down to around 4%. But food prices remain very high, particularly those of fruits and vegetables. The drought has affected harvests and is pushing prices up. The Rural Families association has pulled out its calculator: fruit and vegetables have increased by 16% in one year.
