The increase in consumer prices in August over one year stood at 1.9% in France (and 2.2% in the eurozone), according to figures released on Friday, August 30 by the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE). A first since 2021 and enough to foresee the continuation of the fall in interest rates in Europe.
