In Flames, Sweden Rock blazed

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

The volume from the festival’s largest stage is on Friday night significantly higher than other days when In Flames runs in 24 minutes after the set time. Frontman Anders Fridén orders the audience that “now you can start dancing”.

Fridén’s never ending energy is complemented by a frenetic light show. Old hits like “Cloud connected” get the tagged audience going and the concert continues with a journey through In Flames’ 90s, with songs like “Behind space” and “Graveland”.

About halfway through, Fridén takes a break, sits down to rest and tells how nice it is to be back at the festival.

– It felt incredibly far away there for a while but it is wonderful to see you, he says.

The audience is excited when Fridén takes up the war in Europe, and he emphasizes the importance of being kind in difficult times. The emotional interlude becomes a segway to the song “State of decay” from an upcoming album.

Towards the end, In Flames whips up the mood again and plays “the whole sea storms” with the audience, who jump in time like one big crowd.
