In Final Destination 6 everything should be different

The Final Destination series is set to continue more than 10 years after the fifth part. Earlier this year we reported that Spider-Man: No Way Home director Jon Watts is on board to produce Part 6. Even if there is no concrete information about the sequel, the creator of the cult horror has now spoken cautiously about the new Final Destination film and a exciting detail reveal.

Final Destination 6 should surprise horror fans

So far, the concept of the Final Destination series was very simple. A number of young people cheat death, but it’s not easy to shake off. That’s why the figures are shown one after the other in mostly very spectacular death scenes still brought around the corner.

However, fans should not rely on this proven concept for the 6th part of the horror series. As Bloody Disgusting reports, Final Destination creator Jeffrey Reddick spoke about one in a recent interview new direction for the next film in the franchise:

I can reveal that it’s not just a different kind of ‘We form a group of people, they cheat death and then death catches up to them’ and there’s a little twist that we kind of added to each film that to change it a bit, this is… a real Final Destination movie, but he doesn’t follow that kind of formulathat we have set up.

We’re not really smart from this statement yet, but Final Destination 6 is supposed to turn the series upside down and break well-known rules. It remains to be seen whether the franchise will completely reinvent itself in the end. A start date the next Final Destination film has not yet been decided.
