In France, the government has unveiled its agenda for ecological planning. An additional 7 billion euros will be released next year to accelerate the transition. Among the executive’s projects: the decarbonization of industry. One of the most polluting companies in France is called ArcelorMittal, it manufactures steel. At its factory in Dunkirk, in the north of France, the group has started to invest in infrastructure for decarbonization. With a goal: 40% fewer CO2 emissions by 2030.
