Due to an economic crisis and the Covid-19 pandemic, Congo-Brazzaville has not organized the Pan-African Music Festival (Fespam) since 2015. The event is therefore back this year for its eleventh edition which opened on Saturday evening July 15 in the legendary Alphonse Massamba-Débat stadium. At least 17 countries are represented at this edition which has rumba as its theme.
