In its early days, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was a playground for trick shooters – a bug allowed players to fire themselves high in the air and resulted in some violent clips. Unfortunately, the glitch has now been fixed, but MeinMMO shows you some of the resulting works of art.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has reduced its movement a bit compared to the last few years:
Quickly connecting movement tricks has previously allowed players to secure extreme advantages – more so in the jetpacked titles than in other parts, but even in Call of Duty: Warzone, uncanny maneuvers are possible to outplay opponents.
This catered to so-called Trickshot players, who used daring stunts to collect freaky kills to create cool clips. Unfortunately, Modern Warfare 2 is not ideal for this.
The first few days after the release, however, things looked different. A glitch allowed you to shoot yourself high in the air and land adventurous kills. An attachment provided a rocket launch. We’ll show you what’s behind it and a few nice trick shots on MeinMMO.

What was the trick behind this? A certain attachment provided the buoyancy – bipod lower barrel for sniper rifles. In certain places, for example on the map “Taraq”, you could use it to get to dizzying heights:

The trick quickly made its rounds, many players tried the daring maneuver – sometimes more, sometimes less successfully.
The following clip is probably the highlight of the campaign. There’s this guy in the community who’s been producing CoD clips for years where he’s collecting kills with musical instruments… yes, he did it – with a flute:
However, the trick remains a glitch, a mistake in the game that can even be used to gain advantages. The developers have therefore disabled the broken attachments, as well as weapon tuning a few days ago:
When you can use the attachments again, those responsible are currently still open.
