Trump, who mocked Trudeau by calling him “governor”, stated that the behavior of Chrystia Freeland, who served as Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance but resigned, was “harmful”.
Trump also repeated the phrase “great state” he used for Canada.

When Donald Trump took over as president, he announced that he would impose a 25 percent customs duty on all products coming from Mexico and Canada and an additional 10 percent customs duty on products coming from China.
Trudeau said that increasing the tax by 25 percent would negatively affect the Canadian economy.
