A large part of the industrial fishing catches in the Östejö area go to food in Norwegian salmon farms. It is just one of several problems linked to fish feed.
In the booth, a new fish feed is now being tested – larvae raised on leftover bread and fruit.
In May, the idea is that the feed will be tested in one of Vattenfall’s fish farms.
The project also has a social dimension. In collaboration with Bodens Municipality, it also serves as a labor market effort.
