In Black Ops 6, you can use an enemy as a human shield and exchange favors with your opponent at the same time.
How can you shout in your opponents’ ears? In Black Ops 6, you can use an enemy as a human shield that will absorb your opponents’ bullets and unintentionally save your life. Now, shortly before the start of the Black Ops 6 beta, Treyarch has revealed that you can communicate with your opponents when using this function.
When a player uses another player as a living shield, this activates voice chat between the victim and the perpetrator. It doesn’t matter if you are the hostage-taker or the hostage, in both cases you can talk to your opponent.
You can see what this interaction might look like in the game in the Black Ops 6 multiplayer trailer:
The open voice chat between hostage-taker and hostage could lead to some funny moments, but it also offers the potential for inappropriate and toxic behavior. The developers therefore write in their post on X.com: “Be nice.”
The community senses cool content and toxicity
What do the players say about this? Many players really like the idea and hope that it will result in entertaining content:
However, other players also fear that this feature could cause a lot of insults and toxic behavior:
But some players are simply negative about Call of Duty and condemn users who think the feature is cool or are looking forward to Black Ops 6.
Treyarch really has big plans for Black Ops 6 and seems to be pulling the right screws to get the community excited about the game. The beta will perhaps show us whether the shooter can really live up to the expectations.
One change that Treyarch is bringing to Call of Duty with Black Ops 6 concerns the unlocking of new camouflages. You don’t have to level up your weapons if you want to unlock skins. Instead, you now have to complete certain tasks: Black Ops 6 makes major changes to the weapons so that you can get cool skins even faster
