In Baldur’s Gate 3, a certain NPC is causing a lot of memes in the community: the Withers. The rustic skeleton with pretty bad social skills makes fans laugh with his dry sayings.

Who is the NPC? “The Withered One” is a mysterious and spooky lich that you encounter early on. He joins your camp and you can reskill your class and hire hirelings from him.

After unlocking it, the friendly undead will accompany you as a companion in your camp. You can talk to him there whenever you want and he even has good advice from time to time.

Often, however, he only throws pointed comments in your face, more or less intentionally. For example, Withers laughs at you mercilessly if you don’t end up with your companions quickly enough and is also happy to comment on your love life.
