In Austria the new conservative leader is waiting for government

The new leader of the Austrian People’s Party (ÖVP). Christian Stocker said on Sunday that he expects the far-right FPÖ party to take the lead in the country’s government talks.

Stocker commented on the government talks after attempts to form a centre-right government failed.

– I expect that the party with the most votes in the elections will take on the task of forming the government. If we are invited to participate in these coalition talks, we will accept the invitation, Stocker told the press.
