What game is this about? Goblin Stone is a new turn-based and tactical RPG on Steam released on March 12, 2024. The indie studio Orc Shop Games is behind this narrative adventure.
In Goblin Stone you take on the role of the small and cheerful goblins. Your task will be to ensure the survival of the last goblins, build a new home and start a new family.

What awaits you? Goblin Stone begins as a classic fantasy role-playing game with a fight between a horde of goblins against some wizards, dwarves and hobbits. The fantasy peoples were on the verge of exterminating the small, green people. However, two goblins were able to escape and at this moment you as the player switch sides.
From then on, it’s your job to help the innocent goblins fight for survival. As the trailer already shows, you can expect a lot of fights, but also the construction of a new underground home.
As you explore the procedurally generated world, you control a group of up to 6 goblins via the side-scroller screen. At least if your ranks give them up. With your group you face the various challenges and opponents.
However, your adventure will require you to sacrifice a few goblins every now and then if you want to progress further. These decisions should be well thought out, but ultimately they are probably unavoidable with Goblin Stone.
There should be a total of 60 different enemy types. In the trailer you can see that you have to fight against people, elves or giant rats. Some large enemies can also be seen and there will be a total of 25 boss fights.
Battles in Goblin Stone are turn-based and offer tactical gameplay with various cards and dice.
Build a home, strengthen your goblins and multiply
You also have to take care of expanding your underground hideout. Here you can decide for yourself how much you want to expand and what you particularly value. Among other things, you build barracks and training rooms for your goblins.
In the hideout you can also use the goblin propagation system. This allows you to combine the best genes to create better and stronger goblins. Here you can also improve the characteristics of your goblins and prepare your fighters for the upcoming battles.
You are promised hundreds of possible combinations between the different goblin classes, weapons, skills and cards.
