In a new extraction shooter you fight with mechs against mutated creatures and players – a beta is starting soon

A new extraction shooter will soon be entering a closed beta on PS5, Xbox and Steam, in which you fight with heavily armed mechs.

What kind of game is this? SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada is an extraction shooter published by Japanese publisher Bandai Namco and is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

In SYNDUALITY, a toxic rain has wiped out most of the people. The few survivors are now hunted by twisted creatures or fighting each other in search of rare crystals.

You belong to the so-called drifters and go in search of the coveted crystals in armed mechs – the so-called “vector coffins”.

What sets the game apart? As is typical for extraction shooters and EFT-likes, in SYNDUALITY you have to complete missions and collect resources, such as rare crystals, and then extract them with them.

In addition to the dangerous mutant creatures that populate the planet and attack you, you can also meet other players. You can either help them or stand in their way and fight for the resources.

The main focus of the game, however, is the vector coffins. You can personalize these armored mechs and change their weapons as well as their appearance.

SYNDUALITY: Closed Beta – How to take part

How can you test the shooter? A closed beta will start on March 28, 2024 and you can take part on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. To do this, however, you must register for the beta on Bandai Namco’s website by March 19th.

Unfortunately, not everyone has access. You will find out whether you can take part in the beta between March 25th and 26th, when the invitation codes will be sent out.

There are:

  • 2,000 codes for PS5
  • 500 codes for Xbox
  • 1,500 codes for Steam
  • The preload of the shooter begins on Steam on March 25th at 1:00 a.m. German time and on March 26th at 12:00 a.m.
