The young duke’s son is driven by a desire for revenge against the enemy Harkonnens and the corrupt emperor. In doing so, he tries to integrate himself into the Fremen people native to Arrakis, to which the warrior Chani (Zendaya) also belongs. Ultimately, he has to make a difficult decision that could mean the death of millions.

Denis Villeneuve explained in an interview with Filmstarts that he first wanted to work on a decent script and then take a well-deserved break after six years of working on Dune and Dune 2. It is therefore uncertain when we can expect Dune 3.
