Alien Romulus – Final Trailer (German) HD

Horror master Fede Alvarez returns to the beginning with sci-fi series Alien

Alien: Romulus revolves around a group of young colonists who encounter an abandoned space station called Romulus in the depths of space. On board, the team led by Rain (Cailee Spaeny) finds a murderous way of life, which she begins to hunt as prey.

Director Fede Álvarez has already proven his horror talent with the Evil Dead remake from 2013 and Don’t Breathe. With the Romulus story he continues the Alien franchise back to its beginnings: The first Alien film from 1979 also largely relied on the horror of facing a monstrous enemy in dark space.

Nonetheless, Alien: Romulus is also a new beginning for the franchise, which director Ridley Scott gave a prequel orientation with Prometheus and Alien: Covenant since 2012. According to a Variety interview, Romulus is set to take place between the first two films in the series.

When will Alien: Romulus be released in theaters?

Alien: Romulus runs from 15 August 2024 in the cinema. In addition to Cailee Spaeny, Isabela Merced (Sicario 2) and Archie Renaux (Shadow and Bone) will also be seen in front of the camera. Franchise founder Scott is on board as a producer.
