What can the new jungle monster do? At a presentation to which MeinMMO was also invited, Riot presented many changes to LoL for 2025. Probably the most important thing is the new thematic season structure.

In the first season 2025 Welcome to Noxus, there will be many thematic innovations that fit the Noxus region. In addition to the seasonal changes, a new jungle monster is also coming to the Rift: Atakhan, Harbinger of Decay. It will become a new objective that will be worthwhile:

  • After 20 minutes, the new monster will appear at the upper or lower side of the river, depending on where the most damage and kills occurred after 14 minutes
  • He builds a small, permanent arena that is equipped with two walls
  • Atakhan has two possible forms:
  • the destructive Atakhan appears in action-packed matches and generates a grove of blood rose petals to collect.
  • Killing the destructive Atakhan will boost epic monster rewards (Herald, Baron, or Dragon).
  • the voracious Atakhan appears in calmer matches and provides the team with a buff that can revive them if the members of a team would have actually died in a fight. Here too, he spawns flowers on the map, which you can collect to get experience points and adaptive force
  • Due to his influence, blood rose petals also appear in places where a champion has died
  • Atakhan changes spawn times for Herald and Baron. Herald spawns after 16 minutes, Baron after 25.

    What else is changing in the jungle? The seasonal changes introduce a new feature called Deeds of Strength. If the team achieves certain goals such as first tower destroyed, first kill or first 3 epic jungle monsters, you will receive improved Noxian shoe improvements. Accordingly, good objective control becomes even more important than before.

    Things are also changing in the professional sector and that is especially good for streamers who would like to play League of Legends in the semi-professional sector.
