Son Goku, Son Gohan, Vegeta, Krillin… are back and given a facelift, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the famous manga, which spans generations. To mark the occasion, the franchise announced an event that fans would not miss for anything in the world. Kamé Hamé Ha!
Little ones, you never missed an episode Dragon Ball at the time of Club Dorothée? Like most people in their thirties and forties, this cartoon has left its mark on generations, and they take pleasure in sharing their passion with their own children since the series is currently broadcast on certain TV channels such as Warner TV Next or platforms. Suffice to say that many fans follow the epic battles of Son Goku or Son Gohan, his best friend Krillin, Vegeta… fighting Frieza, Slug, Janemba or even Broly, the most dangerous villains in the universe. The good news is that in 2024, the Dragon Ball franchise celebrates its 40th anniversary. For the occasion, a new anime will be broadcast, something to delight fans of the series!
Dragon Ball Daima: this is the name of the original and unpublished story, drawn in 2D and imagined by the creator of Dragon Ball himself, Akira Toriyama. What is it going to be about? Shenron, the famous dragon capable of granting wishes, will propel the main characters (Vegeta, Krillin, Goku…) into a flashback to when they were children. This is what we can see through the trailer which has already been revealed:
This time again, the transformations take on their full meaning. “Since Goku has to make do with his small size, he will reuse his Magic Staff in combat, which he hasn’t done in a long time” explained Akira Toriyama who said he was “very involved” in this project. “It was I who created the story and the issues, as well as many of the drawings.” adds the author. Another clue revealed: the fights will be very different from all those we have seen so far. In particular, there will be more hand-to-hand combat. As for the release date of the animated series comprising 20 new episodes, we will have to wait, according to the Produ.com website, for the month of October 2024.
