This is what The Fall of the House of Usher is about: The two siblings Roderick Usher (Bruce Greenwood) and Madeline Usher (Mary McDonnell) share a traumatic childhood and their multi-million dollar company: a corrupt pharmaceutical company that is responsible for countless deaths. Right from the start we learn that all six Usher offspring die brutally – and every time the mysterious shapeshifter Verna (Carla Gugino) is there.
