In 14 days the most brutal superhero series will continue

How much blood can you fit on a superhero costume? That’s what Amazon might have asked itself when it surpassed its own orgies of violence in the hit series The Boys with the extreme brutality in Invincible. Season 2 is finally around the corner.

Invincible indulges in more bloodshed than The Boys

Robert Kirkman’s (The Walking Dead) Amazon Prime series is based on his Invincible comics and tells the story of Mark Grayson (voice: Steven Yeun). At first glance, the teenager appears to be a normal student, but is actually the son of the superhero Omni-Man (JK Simmons). When Mark’s supernatural abilities became apparent, he gets to know an extremely bloody new reality.

In the end, every fan has to decide for themselves whether Invincible is actually more brutal than The Boys. But there are fewer limits to the animated series simply because of its design. A massacre in The Boys must find a very precise point between Humor, disgust and action meet. A similar scene appears a bit more satirical in the cartoon style.

When will Invincible Season 2 be released on Amazon Prime Video?

Invincible season 2 is on November 3, 2023 on Amazon Prime Video. This means that it comes onto the streaming market around two and a half years after season 1. In the original version, alongside Yeun and Simmons, Sandra Oh (Killing Eve), among others, can be heard.
