It was at the beginning of August that the two men were caught red-handed when they stole a bicycle in Funäsdalen.
The police were able to arrest one of the men immediately, and the other was arrested the next day.
During the investigation, the police were able to unravel an international theft ring, specialized in stealing expensive bicycles. The thieves had been to several places in the country and had lists of addresses with them.
The district court sentences both men to prison for one year and nine months for aggravated robbery, eight counts of aggravated theft, attempted aggravated theft and preparation for aggravated theft. They are also sentenced to deportation and forbidden to return for ten years.
