Important decision for Suzuki motorsport is suspended


Deciding to withdraw from Moto GP and EWC organizations, Suzuki will transfer its resources to the sustainability framework in order to keep up with the transformation of the industry.

The transformation dynamics in the industry push manufacturers to take important decisions in the restructuring process. Taking an important decision in this context to focus on electric competition, Suzuki announced that it will withdraw from Moto GP in order to create resources for new investments and grow its sustainable activities. For now, the term “temporary hiatus” is used for the departure of the factory team, which will take place as of the 2022 season. Suzuki will also end its activities in the World Endurance Championship (EWC) by the end of the 2022 season.
