IMD expects 2023 turnover to decline to 36 38 million euros

(Finance) – IMD International Medical Devices (IMD), a company listed on Euronext Growth Milan and active in diagnostic imaging systems, expects to achieve a consolidated turnover 2023 included between 36 million and 38 million eurosdown compared to the turnover of 41.8 million achieved in the financial year ended 31 December 2022.

“The economic performance of the group, which we expect to contract in 2023, highlights a positive result for Intermedical and IMD Generators on the various product lines, while for Technix the concomitance of mainly exogenous factors has led to a slowdown – commented theAD Aniello Aliberti – The corrective actions undertaken by management will be visible during 2024, the year in which we plan to implement the development strategies declared at the time of the IPO”.

In particular, growth is expected for the subsidiary IMD Generators and for the subsidiary Intermedical (thanks in particular to the increase in sales of Surgery devices).

For Technix turnover is decreasing due to: the partial drop in orders from one of the main OEM customers compared to the budget received from the same at the beginning of the year; the delayed release of CE MDR certification for two new devices; for the postponement to 2024 for purely bureaucratic reasons of some tenders in Italy and abroad, as already highlighted on 29 September 2023 on the occasion of the half-yearly approval.
