A photo showing Lital Shemesh, one of the presenters of Israel’s Channel 14 television, participating in the broadcast with a gun on her waist, went viral on social media.
HE WAS ON LIVE BROADCAST WITH A GUN ON HIS WAIST.
In the photo in question, it can be seen that Shemesh has a gun in his waistband during the broadcast he attended with his guests in the studio of Channel 14, which is known for its far-right views.
CALL TO ISRAELI TO ARM
Shemesh, who presents the broadcast with a gun on his waist and whose photo is trending on social media, also gives messages in this direction in his posts.
It was noted that Shemesh shared a photo of himself at the shooting range on his social media account X and called on the Israelis to take up arms.
THE CAMPAIGN WAS STARTED
Israel’s Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir launched a campaign to arm Jewish civilians and settlers following the attacks carried out by Hamas on October 7 and Israel’s ongoing attacks on Gaza.
Stating that the Firearms Branch Directorate received hundreds of thousands of personal gun license applications, Ben-Gvir shared photos of the gun distribution events he organized in illegal Jewish settlements in the West Bank on his social media accounts.
In these frames, Ben-Gvir was seen distributing weapons to Jewish settlers at the tables and gun cases where many US-made M16 type automatic rifles were lined up.
