There, France took over completely and the Swedes had no chance in the extra ten minutes of the Olympic semi-final. In the end it was all 31-28 and a very tough defeat for the blue and yellow players who fought so bravely.
Wislander’s criticism
Now the icon is pointing Magnus Wislanderexpert at Radiosporten, harsh criticism of the Swedish ladies.
– Unfortunately, this French team will be overpowering in the extra time. Sweden can’t stand it and can’t resist, he says on the radio channel.
– It is incredibly sad to sit here and say that Sweden plays a really good match, but misses as many clean chances as possible. In terms of the game, you are better if you cannot score. The players can’t handle the pressure. It’s one of the worst losses ever. France was completely calculated. I am very sorry.

The Swedish players do not agree with the legend’s words at all and hit back at the criticism after the tough loss.
– I don’t know about pressure, but we can’t manage to tie the knot and that’s something we’ve seen in previous championships, says Olivia Löfqvist to Expressen.
– He wasn’t there, so I don’t know if he can comment on that. We have no pressure on us in this match. What we said before the game was that we would give it our all. We didn’t feel any pressure, or at least I didn’t, says one annoyed Jamina Roberts.
