Where is Hermione? Some Harry Potter fans who have been looking for Emma Watson in the cinema for years in vain will ask themselves this. After the theatrical release of Little Women in 2019 she turned her back on the film business. And she’s not the least bit sad about it, as she now reveals in a new interview.
Harry Potter star Emma Watson has found what she was always looking for in Hollywood
Speaking to Vogue, Watson explained:
I am so glad I took a break from acting. Now I have my own voice, my own creative space and an independence that I never had before. I’m so glad I took this moment of uncertainty [über die Zukunft] have allowed. I wouldn’t trade what I discovered for anything.

The Harry Potter star had previously expressed herself increasingly unhappy about the way her career was going. The actress said she felt like she was in a cage. After a total of eight Harry Potter appearances, she was seen in The Bling Ring and Beauty and the Beast, among others.
Emma Watson has been active in areas of interest beyond the film industry for many years. Among other things, she works as a UN ambassador for women’s rights and is committed to the concerns of trans people. Future film or series projects are not yet known.
