We had an unforgettable evening during the World Athletics Championships when Daniel Ståhl offered a great display in the discus final. The newly 31-year-old and great rival Christian Ceh settled for the gold medal in the last and it ended in a super drama.

On Wednesday night, it was time again for the rivals to square off again in the ring during an athletics gala in Tallinn, Estonia. This time, Ceh got some plasters on the wounds by defeating Ståhl with a throw of 68.39 m.
– They were technically decent throws. After the WC, there has been a bit of time off to be able to land mentally. Now I’m starting to warm up again, the batteries are charging, says Daniel, who came second, in a press release.

Next up is the classic Finnkampen this weekend, and then Ståhl reveals his great happiness ahead of the competition at Stockholm’s stadium, which is a personal favorite of his.
– Now I’m really looking forward to Finnkampen! There will be a lot of people in the stands and I’m really looking forward to putting on the national team clothes again, says the World Cup gold hero in a statement.
