Strong NHL season

Hedman is coming off a strong season. In 78 games in the regular season, he accounted for 76 points (13 goals and 63 assists) and in the playoffs he scored 7 points (5+1) in 5 games.
– I feel energetic and fresh and have been at a high level all season and feel that I want to continue playing, he tells Aftonbladet.
– We’re also getting a very powerful team, I’m really looking forward to being part of it.

Victor Hedman’s decision to play in the WC means that the national team captain Sam Hallam has 15 NHL players in the squad.
