In the fourth season of Stranger Things we found out that young Will Byers is gay. He kept it a secret for a long time. However, in the most recent episodes of the Netflix sci-fi mystery series, his sexual orientation has been addressed. Last but not least, Will is in love with his best friend, Mike Wheeler.
After his Stranger Things character: Will Byers actor Noah Schnapp comes out as gay
Now Noah Schnapp has also come out. The 18-year-old actor, who has been part of the cast since the start of the series, yesterday revealed to the world, that he is gay. He posts a short video on TikTok and reports on his experience.
When I finally told my friends and family that I was gay after 18 years of dreading it, all they said was: ‘We know it.’
He also comments on his outing with regard to his big Stranger Things role.
I guess, I’m more like Willas I thought.

Schnapp is also part of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things currently in production. It is not yet clear when the last episodes of the Netflix hit will be released. Before 2024 however, we shouldn’t count on the start of the final Stranger Things chapter.
