Seeing The Illuminati in the trailer seems to have increased the excitement. The secret society of superheroes, The Illuminati, will appear on the big screen for the first time.
Even before the first trailer for Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness was released, some fan groups had theorized that The Illuminati might be in the movie. It seems that their theory turned out to be correct. The Illuminati, which consists of the most qualified characters of the Marvel universe, seems to be judging Doctor Strange for confusing multiple universes.

While there is a big question mark over who The Illuminati members will be and who will portray them, some crazy rumors say that Tom Cruise will be playing a Tony Stark variant. While this seems unlikely, Patrick Stewart has announced that he will be reprising the role of X-Men leader Professor X, and his voice will be heard in several trailers and teasers.
