(Finance) – illimitya banking group founded by Corrado Passera and listed on Euronext STAR Milan, has announced that the independent councilor Patrizia Canziani he resigned his own resignation from office, with effect from 31 March 2024.
Patrizia Canziani, non-executive and independent director, member of the Risk Committee and the Sustainability Committee, elected from the minority list by the meeting of 28 April 2022, resigned due to new professional commitments that have arisen, which were found to be incompatible with the continuation of their roles at the bank. Canziani does not appear to hold, directly and/or indirectly, shares in the bank.
The Board of Directors, having acknowledged the impossibility of proceeding with the replacement pursuant to the current statute and having regard to the timing of the next annual meeting, has resolved not to proceed with the co-optation of a new member of the board, thus leaving the decisions to the will of the shareholders, who will then be asked to present any candidates to be submitted to the upcoming annual meeting.
