A video that summarizes the long history of the newspaper will present all the great names of culture and journalism who have signed the pages of the newspaper, from the founder Luigi Cesana to writers and poets such as Trilussa, Grazia Deledda, Luigi Pirandello, Dacia Maraini, Vincenzo Cerami, intellectuals such as Mario Missiroli, Benedetto Croce, Giovanni Spadolini, Giorgio Manganelli, Maurizio Costanzo and Roberto Gervaso and artists of the caliber of Alberto Sordi and Gigi Proietti, just to name a few of the great collaborators of Il Messaggero.

The initiative, which as mentioned concludes the series of activities and events organized during the year to celebrate the 145th year of life of the newspaper, thus aims to combine the great contemporaneity of an installation that enhances the technology of light and tradition of the story of these 145 years in an ideal embrace between past, present and future which is the value and mission of the newspaper. Anyone interested will also be able to delve deeper into the history of the newspaper by visiting the exhibition underway on the ground floor of the headquarters in via del Tritone which will display until the end of the year, around the historic Linotype, images and extracts of the editorial content that made the Messaggero the main daily newspaper Roman and one of the most important Italian newspapers.
