The USB charger Åskstorm 40W risks causing superficial burns and electric shocks. Therefore, Ikea is recalling the charger.
The company urges all customers who own the dark gray charger with item number 50461193 to stop using the charger and contact Ikea for a refund.
The problems with the charger occur if the power cord has become frayed, which can happen if the cord has been wrapped around the charger or bent back and forth for a long time, writes Ikea.
