It is so cozy and relaxed and carnivalesk that it is just really carnival in IJsselstein.” He and his group are dressed in yellow-black and images that they miss two sizes. The Bokken-Rockers also praise the atmosphere in Apestad. “Everything is fun here, I am from Brabant, but I celebrate carnival here,” says one of the ladies. “And that says enough,” adds another. “The atmosphere here is good, great.”
