HIFK’s Iiro Pakarinen continued his scoring streak in the SM league, but it didn’t warm up the attacker after the defeat.

of HIFK Iiro Pakarinen scored his 23rd complete game of the season in the match that ended in a 2–3 overtime loss against Oulun Kärppi and is now on an eight-match scoring streak during which he has finished 15 times.
However, the structure of the goal line did not warm Pakaris after the defeat.
– It doesn’t really matter at all. I myself probably had two or three top lots that should have been made. Yes, we always play for the win here. One point was obtained, but we are not satisfied with it, Pakarinen, who scored the opening goal of the match, said.
HIFK, the leader of the SM league, will face Kärpä again tomorrow, this time in Oulu. Successive struggles suit Pakarinen.
– There’s even a bit of a playoff atmosphere in these. Good to get this cleared up quickly. Hopefully tomorrow we will be much more ready and better than today.
Minor injury
Despite Pakarinen’s ferocious scoring, he was not selected Antti Pennanen to pilot the Leijonat team, which plays in the EHT home tournament on the 7th–10th. November.
After Friday’s Kärpät match, Pakarinen told Urheilu why he is not with the national team.
– There has been a small injury that I have been playing with for a while now. It’s better to take care now that I can get my body back in shape. We’ll see in the future.

– Of course it will come in handy. There have been many games. One game will be played and then we will take a few tricks.
The SM league will be on a national match break after Sunday’s round. The main domestic series will be played next on November 13.
Pakarinen’s next opportunity to play in the EHT is in December, when it’s time for the tournament to be played in Switzerland.
