Diablo 4 disappointed some players with the Patch Notes for Season 1. They don’t even want the associated Battle Pass as part of their Delixe or Ultimate Edition.
July 20th at 7 p.m. is the start of Season 1 in Diablo 4, but the patch notes for update 1.1 are already available. Some players are dissatisfied, voicing strong criticism of Season 1 and emphasizing how disappointed they are with the upcoming update. But they also share a tip.
What is this tip? If you have purchased the Diablo 4 Digital Deluxe or Ultimate Edition, you can redeem a Battle Pass “for free” once – the free pass is part of the larger editions.
However, if you are also disappointed with Season 1 and are not interested in the content offered, according to Reddit user “valut_nsfw”, you should be free to activate the Battle Pass included in your edition at a later date (via Reddit).

If you purchased the Diablo IV Digital Deluxe or Ultimate Edition and wish to redeem your Battle Pass for this season, navigate to the Seasons section of the Store and select the option to activate your Battle Pass.
