If you are in your thirties or older, you were certainly lulled, in the 80s, by these cartoon credits which rocked the childhood of an entire generation. Tom Sawyer, Denver the Last Dinosaur or even Cat’s Eyes… Who has never sung the first verses of these cult theme songs? We even bet that when you just mention the title of the cartoon, the music immediately comes to mind. The good news is that these musics are for the first time brought together on vinyl, in limited editions and completely remastered on 45RPM.
Denver, the last dinosaur : The “nice green dinosaur” straight from the torrid and ancient jungle, lover of guitar and skateboard, is back on the decks with his rock theme which will have left its mark on more than one future rider. We take this opportunity to put the song in your head: “One two three four ! Denver, the last dinosaur, is my friend and much more. Denver, the last dinosaur, comes from a world never seen before…”
Cat’s Eyes : Signed by the hand of Nicky Larson’s creator, the cartoon Signé Cat’s Eyes left an impression on more than one teenager in front of their television set. This essential Japanese animated series broadcast in France for the first time in 1986 highlighted heroines with double lives: Tam, Alex and Sylia who transform at night.
Tom Sawyer : “He is always ready to try an adventure, with his good friends. He is not afraid of anything… “, broadcast for the first time in France in December 1982 on Antenne 2, Tom Sawyer left its mark on an entire generation. The latter will plunge back, not into Mississippi, but into the adventures of Joe the Indian’s best enemy!
