You thought that a roller coaster at full speed was the worst attraction? This one will prove you wrong, especially if you are afraid of heights!
While some are fans of sports, a series or a star, others have a real passion for amusement parks. What most people are looking for in these places are sensations, adrenaline and thrills. And then, there are those who simply cannot stand rides or are afraid of them.
Those who have already tried the most sensational attractions will probably say that today, there is nothing that surpasses the Ferrari World park in Abu Dhabi, or the Red Force attraction (the fastest in PortAventura World) or even the latest addition to Parc Astérix, namely Toutatis. However, there is an attraction that could surpass these rides that have set the bar high. For some, it is the most terrifying attraction in the world, and it is not a question of free fall or speed.
Its name: “X-Scream”. It is located at the top of the Stratospherer Tower of the hotel casino The Strat, the tallest tower in Las Vegas. Its concept will make more than one person tremble since the participants must board a rather unusual car. Once launched, it will tilt forward and backward, thus brushing against the void… at a height of 264 m. To top it all off, the attraction has a detail that will not reassure the most skeptical: there is nothing at the end of the rail, just the void.
On the Internet and on social networks, Internet users have shared their experience and given their opinions. In the Tiktok video in particular from @soundrider_ (available at the top of the article), the young man explains in images that everything is secure, but that the “programmed movement of the rail gives the impression that the wagon is going to come loose and that we are going to be ejected straight towards the ground.” He even states in the caption that it is “the only attraction that [lui] “still scary.”
For those who are not totally impressed, know that there are also two additional attractions at the top of this tower, “Insanity the ride” whose goal is to make visitors spin above the void, and “Big Shot” which is a free fall propulsion tower. Enough to give you a good dose of adrenaline or anxiety!
