“If there were no cameras, he would have torn you apart already.”

If there were no cameras he would have torn you

I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here! without arguments, quarrels and bickering? Unthinkable! The experienced professionals in the summer jungle camp know that too. On the second day, the beef between two particularly aggressive jungle legends goes into the next round: Free spirit Ortega and sports legend Legat have a showdown that even Tarantino couldn’t have staged more excitingly. Find out how entrenched the fronts really are here.

“Like a dictator”: David Ortega offends in the jungle camp

On day 2, there is trouble in the air: Ex-Cologne 50667 star David Ortega creates a bad mood from the first minute with his controlling behavior. It doesn’t take long before it becomes too much for trash starlet Kader Loth: “David, do me a favor. We’re a little older than you. And when you talk, talk normally. You scream. You really scream.

He’s causing controversy: jungle camp legend David Ortega.

Ortega is ready to cause trouble from the start. Even though he never becomes abusive, he pokes fun at everything that moves. In the camp, he sees himself as the super dad who always has to take the initiative. The others are visibly annoyed, but Ortega accepts this for the greater good:

I am looking for more responsibility. I have a lot of confidence in this group. And even if they will see this at some point: You will understand what I mean.

Kader Loth finds Ortega’s behavior inappropriate. Shortly afterwards, he sharply reprimands her for not tidying up properly enough. Thorsten Legat does not like the fact that the much younger David Ortega treats the TV icon like a child: “What’s going on here? That’s not a commander. Like a dictator, hey!”

Kader Loth sums it up: “He has a problem with every single person here. He’s always trying to find the needle in the haystack.” She compares Ortega to a landmine. As soon as anyone gets too close to him, he will explode: “Everything is no longer normal.”

“I don’t want to talk to you”: Thorsten Legat has no interest in reconciliation

Since episode 1, the fronts between Thorsten Legat and David Ortega have hardened. After his opponent has already done everything to make himself as unpopular as possible, Legat shows little interest in reconciliation. Ortega asks for a discussion, but Legat coldly turns him down: “I don’t want to talk to you. Stop acting like a tough guy here. You’ve come to the wrong place with me.”

Then the same old story: Ortega sees his view of things confirmed. The others are aggressive; he does not take responsibility for his own misconduct. Eric Stehfest, who is generally more receptive to Ortega’s spiritual worldview, rejects the argumentative “Peace Commissioner” harshly. He had behaved incorrectly towards Legat: “It was too close. It was in his aura.”

Then Stehfest tells the hated camp inmate that he better not mess with Thorsten Legat: “If there were no cameras, he would have torn you apart already.”

Thorsten Legat is under stress. No wonder: Ortega is getting on his last nerve.

Things are getting heated: threats of violence and even more arguments

Thorsten Legat confirms the statement and makes it clear that he will not tolerate David Ortega’s behavior much longer. Too much anger has built up: “I’ve had enough!”

According to Legat, Ortega needs to put the brakes on: “Now calm down and don’t take your position so seriously.” You wouldn’t otherwise get to see the ex-footballer so emotional: “I’m normally a lovely person. But you’re driving everyone here crazy.”

Ortega feels particularly betrayed by Eric Stehfest: he promptly forbids him from calling him by his first name: The rest of the group should also address him exclusively by his last name from now on – unless someone wants to be his friend. However, the offer doesn’t seem very tempting at the moment.

“You’re crazy”: fellow campers lose patience

Even the otherwise peace-loving TV real estate agent Hanka Rackwitz can’t take it anymore. She bluntly attacks Ortega: “It’s good now. You’re crazy. A really big one.”

The bearded jungle terror then rains down criticism: “You have zero interest in peace politics.” Bold words for someone who caused the first conflict of the season. The tense atmosphere continues until the end. You can feel that the campers are visibly uncomfortable and are doing their best to make important decisions without Ortega.

At the end you get the receipt: David Ortega is eliminated from the show on day 2.
