(Finance) – Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) closes 2021 with revenues consolidated totals at € 102.5 million compared to € 79.8 million in 2020, an increase of 28.4%). EBITDA amounted to 21.6 million euros (1.8 million in 2020) while EBIT amounted to 2.9 million euros, 24.4 million higher than the previous year.
The Group Period Result shows a loss of 0.7 million of Euro, improving of 11.8 million euros compared to the previous year.
There Net financial position at 31 December 2021 it amounted to 105.6 million euros, showing a reduction in net debt of 23.9 million euros compared to 31 December 2020.
The extraordinary situation induced by the pandemic – explains the company in the account note – “did not affect the validity of the business model“of the Italian Exhibition Group. The positive reaction to the reopening of fairs and congresses by the market and operators,” makes clear the strategic importance of the exhibition-congress sector as a non-renounceable tool for the marketing and internationalization of companies ” .
