(Finance) – Three macro areas that occupy 6 pavilions: MIR Club, MIR Tech and LIVE YOU PLAY: the Rimini exhibition center ready to welcome the 7th edition of MIR – Live Entertainment Expo, an event signed by the Italian Exhibition Group which brings together leaders in the Light, Sound, Visual, Integrated System & Broadcast sectors. From Sunday 7th to Tuesday 9th April, the event will transform the city of Rimini into the capital of live entertainment supply chains, in an area that is a historic cultural reference for the sector.
MIR Club is the area dedicated to the world of DJing, clubbing and electronic music production. A vibrant and stimulating space, ideal for connecting with the latest trends and innovations that enliven club nights around the world, which returns with a completely renewed layout between exhibition areas with leading companies in the DJ technology sector and an experience area with the intense program taking place in the Club Arena. Furthermore, this year MIR Club offers great opportunities for new talents with Demolition Panel, which awaits excellent guests and professionals from the world of radio, recording, clubs and production such as Albertino, Joe T Vannelli, Big Fish, Ale Lippi and others. Finally, DJ Round Table will offer the opportunity to meet artistic directors and owners of Italian clubs and festivals in days that will end with pure fun with a DJ Jam Session [sun] set.
MIR Tech it will host all the news dedicated to audio, video, lighting technologies for concerts, shows, education, retail, museums, IT and hospitality. Internally, System Integration AVC will be an exclusive showcase of the new trends that are characterizing the world of work, the educational sector, the design of spaces, as well as the latest innovations in terms of interactive and immersive solutions. With the support of the Italian Systems Integration association Experience Community (SIEC), partner of MIR Tech, the area will constitute a dynamic space for exchange and comparison and will provide valuable opportunities for learning and practical experimentation through seminars, training activities and experiential itineraries. MIR is also an essential meeting point for light design professionals: through the “LD@WORK” masterclasses and exclusive events in the Tech Arena area, experts will focus on the live world, fashion and theatrical performances. Special events such as the Show History on “POOH – Friends forever – Live 2023” will further enrich the agenda. Also, come back there second edition of The LightWalker Contesta project founded and organized by RM Academy, the section of RM Multimedia dedicated to training, aimed at young operators or emerging lighting designers under 30.
Format unique in the world, Live You Play it is an unmissable opportunity for professionals wishing to evaluate the performance of new equipment in their natural environment: the stage. The area will transform the backstage into the main stage, displaying stages and structures in a dynamic and interactive context. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the audio, video and lighting technologies at work, all in operation and ready to be tested. In this edition, two stages will be the protagonists: the “Live System Contest”, the robotic stage that will host the performance of six audio systems in continuous rotation and the “Contest Mixer”, which will allow a direct comparison between various audio mixers using a single Point Source reference audio system.
Innovation and cutting edge always at the center. MIR also stands out for the return of Immersive Rooms, which represent a journey into the future of audio. The four dedicated demo rooms offer visitors the unique opportunity to experience immersive sound first-hand. Furthermore, the renowned Contest Colonne project returns. This unique initiative is dedicated to vertically developed sound diffusion systems, which rise on stands or columns of different sizes.
