IEG Eating out for business with Beer Food Attraction

(Finance) – They closed today at Rimini Fair the manifestations of Italian Exhibition Group dedicated to eating OUT, a reference point for the entire supply chain. There 7th Beer & Food Attraction and the 4th BBTech expo, a professional fair of technologies for beers and beverages, were held simultaneously with the 11th International Horeca Meeting of Italgrob, bringing together in a single appointment the manufacturers, operators, sector associations and the entire horeca community. Winning the new format, totally B2B, and the placement in the days from Sunday to Wednesday.

More than two years after the last edition in attendance and just over a year after full digital version, the return of the three events has given strength to the operators and an important boost to the business of a central sector for the country’s economy. The sentiment of the 360 ​​brands present, spread over 30,000 square meters of exhibition, it is fully positive. About a thousand appointments between exhibitors and 85 international buyers attending the fair, thanks to the collaboration with ICE Agenzia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and in parallel by the regional advisors of IEG. Buyers from 24 countries: Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Poland, United Kingdom, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland and Hungary. Also present were delegations from the United States, Armenia, Israel, Kazakhstan and Lebanon.

The three events represented a unique opportunity for comparison for the entire community ofeating OUTstarting from scenarios on the next summer season, up to medium and long-term trends. This is also confirmed by the partnerships between the Italian Exhibition Group and the reference associations. The Confindustria federation Italgrob has confirmed Rimini, and the fair in particular, as the ideal location for its International Horeca Meeting, along the same lines as the Italian Federation of Chefs which reiterated as the Rimini Fair is the ideal “home” of its most important event, the Italian Cuisine Championships. Again in the food sector, we point out the collaboration with Cast Alimenti, while the beer sector, with the patronage of Assobirra, saw, among other collaborations, those with Unionbirrai, the CERB Research Center for Brewing Excellence and the Consorzio Birra Italiana.

Also important are the effects on the local economy, closely linked to the world of eating OUT. Beer & Food Attraction gave an injection of trust to operators, also thanks to the novelty of this edition of Rimini Beer Week which, with the patronage of the Municipality of Rimini, involved locals in the historic center and on the Riviera. Beer & Food Attraction, BBTech expo and the International Horeca Meeting will return to the natural location date for the sector in 2023, from 19 to 22 February at the Rimini Fair.
