On Monday, Idol winner Cimberly Wanyonyi, together with three other Idol participants, took the stage at Sara Kulturhus to perform for the people of Skellefteå.
– You get a little extra edgy, it’s great fun that so many people are coming tonight, says Cimberly Wanyonyi.
In connection with the tribute concert, an art object – dedicated to Cimberly – will also be unveiled.

During Cimberly Wanyonyi’s Idol journey, the jury member Anders Bagge exclaimed that she really should get her own statue in the square in Skellefteå.
– Then the ideas started bubbling, we want to pay tribute to her here in Skellefteå, says Evelina Fahlesson (S), municipal councillor.
It didn’t turn out to be a statue, but rather a work of art of its own – created by students at Solvik Folk High School.
– We are incredibly proud to present this, says Evelina Fahlesson (S), municipal councillor.
