Idol 2024: They go to the finals

After an emotional semi-final, it is clear that it will be Joel Nordenberg, Margaux Flavet and Minou Nilsson who will go on to the final of “Idol” 2024.

Joel Nordenberg was the first to receive the news that he had advanced to the final.

– It feels absolutely incredible. I never thought you would get this far, that you are even here is a blessing. That I get to do this and be in the final, I’m just grateful and will take advantage of it as best as possible, he says after the program.

Margaux Flavet: “Tears of Joy”

Margaux Flavet had a hard time holding back tears during the broadcast when she was told she had passed on.

– It means an incredible amount to me, it’s tears of joy, she says in the program.

When TV4 Nyheterna meets her, she says that she is “very grateful”.

– You don’t know what to say, it’s so crazy. I don’t understand, I’m so grateful that the viewers voted for me. It means so much, I started crying because I was so happy. Singing really is my life, she says.

They leave “Idol”

Leo Tekiel and Robin Sohlberg are forced to leave the program.

– It’s sad of course, I would have liked to be in the final. But I am satisfied with my trip, says Leo Tekiel in the program.

During the evening, the idols sang two songs each, within two different themes. The first theme of the evening was “My hero” and became emotional for both participants, the jury and the audience. Not least when Margaux Flavet performed Billie Eilish’s song “What was i made for”, which she dedicated to everyone who feels alone. In the program she talked about her own experiences of loneliness and exclusion.

The second theme during the evening was “Viewers’ choice”, where the viewers had to vote for which songs the idols would perform.
