The two children whose remains were found in suitcases in New Zealand have been identified. However, their names will not be released at the request of the children’s relatives, police said, as they continue to investigate the deaths.

The remains were found two weeks ago near Auckland, after a family bought the suitcases at an auction of forgotten items from rented storage.

The family that bought the bags has no connection to the deaths.

The children are believed to have been between five and ten years old when they died, according to the police.

No evidence that could reveal the children’s identities can be made public, according to a coroner’s order.

On Monday, information came that a woman who is believed to be related to the children was found in the South Korean capital, Seoul.
