While singing and playing, Manon and Kevin take on the role of all kinds of characters and personalities, such as the hip influencers Look and Luna and the folk singers Koos and Alberta. In doing so, they bring current (a)social behavior to the stage. Kevin: “We are critical on some fronts, especially when it comes to the use of the mobile phone. It includes a sketch in which we look at today’s art lover, who mainly observes this through his phone and then at home – I hope – will look back and think oh yes, I saw this in that museum. We also say: the new one seems identical, authentic. We want to spray our Botox head, lips, preferably as tight as possible so that you think, what do you want? ? Do we all want to look alike or do we want to have a very individual existence?” Manon: “We certainly have scenes where it is palpable what we think of it.
