The British heavy metal band Iron Maiden is now honored by being elevated to a postage stamp. This is announced by Royal Mail. 12 stamps with different Iron Maiden motifs will be released shortly. Images from some of the band’s most talked-about gigs and their legendary mascot Eddie are also included. Iron Maiden become the fifth UK band to be stamped by Royal Mail. In the past, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen and the Rolling Stones have a place in the stamp company. See the stamps in the player above.
