Ice warning on Boxing Day
SMHI has issued an orange warning for very strong winds on Calf mountain in the middle and northern Lapland mountains. The warning is valid until Friday evening.
On Boxing Day, rain is expected in Västerbotten and Norrbotten, and as the roads are cold, a yellow warning has been issued for sudden icy conditions.
The cold looks set to return in time for the New Year, with colder air moving in across much of the country next week. In southern Sweden, it looks like there will be both snow, rain and wind, but it is still unclear where the line between rain and snow will be.

At 11 o’clock on Christmas Eve, the problems started when Swish’s users could not transfer money, which Aftonbladet was the first to report on. Shortly before midnight on Christmas Eve, the beta app announced that the issues had been resolved, but on Christmas morning, users encountered new problems. Those who wanted to see their payment history in the app were met with an error message. Only after 3pm on Christmas Day did Swish start working as usual again.
– What I can say is that there was a malfunction yesterday, and today there has been a problem showing the history in the app, says Matilda Westerman at Swish’s press service.
– I only know that there was a malfunction and that they worked to solve it as soon as possible.
She is tight-lipped about the cause of the problems, which went on and off for more than a day.
Do you suspect a hacker attack or overload attack?
– The only thing I know is that it was a malfunction, says Matilda Westerman.
