Sofie Lundin left SDHL in 2022 to play in college but didn’t get the confidence she hoped for at Ohio State University. After just over a year, she made the tough decision to drop out of school and leave the United States.
– I did not get the trust I had hoped for. It was difficult to find your way back to the player you were before. It becomes a vicious circle, says Lundin.

The 24-year-old also brings positives from his time in college.
The forward moved home to Sweden in the middle of the season and has played in Frölunda since then.
– There were very tough months when I had to make the decision. A lot of back and forth as to what I would do. A big decision to make, but I think I received good support from Frölunda and have had my parents who supported me.
