37-year-old Crosby stood over two workouts with an injury to the upper body and participated in the heating during the morning local time but will not play.
– Right now we only take one day at a time. He won’t play tonight. Obviously he is on ice and participated in the morning heating, which is encouraging for our part, says Pittsburgh’s coach Mike Sullivan according to Reuters.
The last Crosby missed an NHL match was also against NY Rangers April 7, 2022.
Three Kronors NHL team will start Four Nations against Canada in Montreal at 02.00 Swedish time February 13. The US and Finland are other teams in the tournament that only have players from the NHL.
